Come join us for our first Annual Speaker Event. We have added a twist to this event in having a donation drive for Working Wardrobes. We are happy to work in coordination with Working Wardrobes to have our Speaker Event at their venue. In exchange, we are hosting a clothing drive for the event. So please come and network with your colleagues and meet new people as well listen to a great speaker and bring your donations.
AFWA OC is implementing something a little less formal than our traditional dinners by introducing our “SPEAKER EVENTS”. Therefore, it’s less expensive and everybody can appreciate some cost savings after the holidays. We’re having a nice dinner, buffet style, along with beverages while listening to our Guest Speaker, Mark Johnson, Regional Vice President, from Robert Half.
“So bring your working wardrobes clothing for male or female and help empower men, women, veterans and young adults overcoming difficult challenges to confidently enter the workforce and achieve success.”
Donation Guidelines: Greatest needs are Handbags, Shoes, Jewelry, Extra small and plus sizes. Another big impact is gift cards to fill in the gaps in their inventory, ex: Target, TJ Max, Kohl’s. Of course anything you bring helps, so please don’t’ hesitate to clean out your closet and help others in need.
Regional Vice President, Robert Half
Mark Johnson is regional vice president and the leader in specialized staffing at Robert Half. He oversees all administrative and financial operations for the OfficeTeam, Accountemps, Salaried Professional Services and Robert Half Finance & Accounting divisions in the Orange County area. Prior to joining the Robert Half in 2010, Mark’s background included working with business consulting firms such as Sapient and Ajilon. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Arizona and has nearly 15 years staffing experience.
