students from local universities and community colleges. We are also offering a drawing to all
attending accounting/finance students to win an award of $200 to use toward their student
expenses. Five lucky students will win this award.

Guest Speaker: Katie Wager of Katie Wager Social Media
LinkedIn: Connections, Conversation & Credibility

We all know the power of networking, and in today’s world, effective networking can be done online,
as well as in person. Learn how to create a Linked In profile that gets found by more people, grabs
your audience’s attention, and tells your story in a way that builds credibility and leaves connections
wanting to know more. Katie will cover strategies for connecting, tips for exposing your profile to the
widest audience possible, and how to get the most return on time spent on your networking efforts.

Katie spent more than 15 years as a journalist and has worked at CBS, ABC, Fox, CNN and National
Public Radio. She opened KWSM to help companies and organizations tell their story. Over the
years, Katie has helped set digital marketing strategy for hundreds of clients in a variety of industries.
