Please JOIN US, for our biggest night of the year, our Annual Student Scholarship Award Dinner event. In the last 25 years we have awarded over $60,000 in annual student scholarships to local college students (female and male) at the university and community college levels who are actively pursuing an education in accounting or finance. It’s a fun evening of networking and inspiration that you won’t want to miss!
We invite you to be part of our mission to “contribute to the future development of the Accounting & Finance profession” by making a direct donation to our scholarship fund or to partner with us by becoming a Corporate or Individual chapter sponsor. Not only will you benefit by knowing you are giving to a worthy cause, but you will be supporting professional networking opportunities and continuing education credits for members and guest; and we will provide you with promotion for your organization on our website and in our monthly newsletter!

Thatcher | Law
In 2009, I formed my own firm and I have been dedicated to helping families in my community with their estate planning needs. I assist clients in with the preparation and administration of Wills, Living Trusts, Advance Health Care Directives, Powers of Attorney, Guardian Nominations, IRA Beneficiary Trust and other specialized trusts.
I graduated from Loyola Law School in 1997. For the first 12 years of my legal career I practiced litigation, originally as a defense-oriented personal injury attorney, and then I transitioned to construction defect litigation. After my father’s death in 2009, I re-evaluated my priorities and goals and determined that helping families prepare for life’s transitions was the most meaningful use of my talents.
I have lived in the South Bay since 1976 and I am active in community organizations. I am a member of the Hermosa Beach chapter of Rotary International as well as Sandpipers, a local community service organization focusing on our South Bay Community. In addition, I sing with the choir at the First United Methodist Church of Redondo Beach, and am an active volunteer with Boy Scout Troop 860 in Hermosa Beach.
